The US Parachute Association has partnered with Aspire (previously Merit) to send their members digital credentials, or merits, for their membership, licenses, ratings, and awards. Find out how to opt-in to receive your digital copies of your USPA credentials below.
How to opt in and receive USPA credentials on Aspire
Login to your USPA membership account at www.uspa.org , navigate to the Experienced Skydivers tab, and check the box next to Merit (see below).
In most cases, your merit(s) will be issued within 48 hours, it some cases, it can take up to 3 business days after opting in for your merit to be issued. You’ll receive notification and further directions via email.
How to find your USPA credentials
If you are a USPA member (or past member) and you’ve opted in to receive your Aspire credentials within your USPA account AND it’s been over 2 business days, access your credentials by entering your email here, enter your email address and click “Forgot Password”. If the email address you entered matches the email address on file with USPA, you’ll receive an email allowing you to create your password and login to your account.
Troubleshooting
No credentials found for your email address
If you are opted in and have been for 48 hours, please double-check that you are using the same email address on your USPA account as you are attempting to log in to your Aspire profile.
If you are still are not able to access your credentials, please reach out to us at help@aspiretech.us.
When claiming your credentials, please use an updated version of Chrome, Safari or Firefox or Edge.
Did you get a message that your credential was removed?
USPA may revoke or remove merits if discrepancies are discovered. If you would like to know why or think this was done by mistake, please contact USPA at uspa@uspa.org.
Merge and add emails to your Aspire profile
Do you use different
* If you should have USPA credentials, but only see UPT credentials in your Aspire page, (or vise versa), you’re probably using 2 different email addresses. Please only use 1 email address.
**If you have linked your BurbleMe account with Aspire AND you are using multiple email addresses that you have NOT merged, you’ll only be sending SOME of your credentials to Burble, and not ALL. Please be sure to only use 1 email before you integrate with Burble and check-in to the dropzone.
Credentials not updating with your membership or rating renewals
Have you renewed your USPA membership and/or ratings and discovered that your credentials are still coming up expired? There are a few possible reasons why your USPA membership and crdentials are not sharing the same information.
USPA account is not currently opted in to receive merits.
Please confirm that you are opted in to receive USPA merits.
You have updated your email address associated with your USPA membership
Have your membership, licenses, or ratings been processed by the USPA?
Once applications and renewal have been processed, please allow up to 48 hours for your credentials to arrive.

All credentials are renewed by their issuing organization. Please contact the USPA for renewal instructions, forms, pricing and details.
